hi, i’m quilenthia, the founder of Dearest Garden.
Dearest Garden began not as a business but as a heartfelt endeavor during the 2020 pandemic. After closing my fabric business that year, I found myself in a period of grieving and searching for something to help me heal. Gardening became my refuge. A sanctuary where I could cultivate not only plants but also healing and peace.
What started as a deeply personal record of my own garden has since grown into something bigger. Dearest Garden is now an ambient documentary series, one that takes me beyond my own place and into the gardens of others, capturing plant lovers at work in their own spaces.
Where Gardening Meets Art
Photography has been my creative outlet for over 10 years, and it’s through this craft that I bring my love for vintage aesthetics and dreamy florals to every garden I film.
dearest garden lets me combine my two passions, gardening and creating, now applied to capturing other people’s spaces the same way i capture my own.
